Interested to learn some Japanese words, what they mean and how to use them in a sentence? Keep reading! Here is a recap of #DavidDASHensei's Japanese words of the day for March 2015, as heard on Iskrambol sa Buntag:
  • KASEGU, to earn money
    To use in a sentence: Watashi wa kasegu shitai desu.
    Translation: I want to earn money.
    To use in another sentence: Kung manambok ka, imong sanina di na KASEGU.
  • SENSHUU, last week
    To use in a sentence: Watashi wa senshuu aisu kuriimu ga tabemashita.
    Translation: I ate ice cream last week.
    To use in another sentence: Sa pagsakay og jeep, SENSHUU lang sa buntag! 
  • SHIGOTO, work
    To use in a sentence: Watashi no shigoto wa kanriyou desu.
    Translation: My work is complete.
    To use in other sentences:
    1. Pareha og skwelahan akong Kuya and Ate. He and SHIGOTO school together.
    2. Kung small ang sanina, guoto. Kung large, luagto. Kung medium, SHIGOTO.
  • DOITSUGO, German language
    To use in a sentence: Doitsugo wa hanashitte kudasai.
    Translation: Please speak German.
    To use in another sentence: Paglung-ag na. DO IT, SUGO ni Mama!
  • DOUZO, please
    To use in a sentence: Kochira e douzo.
    Translation: This way, please.
    To use in other sentences:
    1. Kung pull, bira. Kung push, DOUZO.
    2. Kung wala pa ka naligo, please DOUZO kay udto na.
  • SUGOII, amazing
    To use in a sentence: Sugoii desu ne!
    Translation: That's amazing!
    To use in another sentence: SUGOII, ayaw pangisog dayon!
  • SAYOUNARA, goodbye
    To use in a sentence: Sayonara wa iwanaide.
    Translation: Don't say goodbye.
    To use in other sentences:
    1. Yehey, perfect ko! SAYOUNARA sa exam oy!
    2. Sa 'kin, acacia. SAYOUNARA.
    3. Di nako mangita og lain kay na-SAYOUNARA ang lahat.
  • KAZOKU, family
    To use in a sentence: Watashi wa kazoku o aishiteimasu.
    Translation: I love my family.
    To use in another sentence: Joke ra, so ayaw KAZOKU.
  • KINZOKU, metal or metallic
    To use in a sentence: Kore wa kinzoku seidearu.
    Translation: This is made of metal.
    To use in another sentence: Gi-amnesia ko, I can't remember my name. KINZOKU?
  • TOTEMO, very
    To use in a sentence: Anata wa totemo kirei desu.
    Translation: You are very beautiful.
    To use in other sentences:
    1. If gutom gihapon after one timo, kinahanglan og TOTEMO.
    2. Di diay ikaw ang tag-iya ani? I TOTEMO.
