Bigger and Cheaper

On one of my recent trips to the supermarket, this caught my attention: A 182-gram can of Pringles only costs P81.50, while a 140-gram can is priced at P89.50. Yup, the bigger one is cheaper – that's 42 grams more and P8.00 less! When I pointed this out to the merchandiser, he told me that it wasn't a mistake: The former is local, the latter is imported. So if you didn't have a reason to buy and patronize local products before, now you have one: you get more for less!
