Bigger and Cheaper

On one of my recent trips to the supermarket, this caught my attention: A 182-gram can of Pringles only costs P81.50, while a 140-gram can is priced at P89.50. Yup, the bigger one is cheaper – that's 42 grams more and P8.00 less! When I pointed this out to the merchandiser, he told me that it wasn't a mistake: The former is local, the latter is imported. So if you didn't have a reason to buy and patronize local products before, now you have one: you get more for less!

David & Yassi, "Depend on Me" [OPC10 January 2013]

David DiMuzio starts the year right on the OPC10 with two of his songs making it to 2013's first monthly edition. His version of "Ulipon sa Gugmang Giatay" featuring Jade Kaye Cal lands at #6 on the Pinoy tally, while our spotlight track "(You Can) Depend on Me" featuring Yassi Pressman is also at #6 on the overall chart.
