OPC Pop 40 of 2014
A total of 110 pop songs made it as an Overall Pick this year on OPC Hits. Scores were tabulated and the entries were ranked to find out which among them made it to the year-end Top 40. Making it to the list are two Pinoy tunes (with the highest going deep inside the Top 10), five artists with multiple entries (counting tracks they were featured in), and even one entry which was also in last year's annual chart!
Taking the coveted #1 spot this year is a fun song which perfectly captures the elements of the modern pop song, while also educating us with the terms that we need to know. Here is the OPC Pop 40 of 2014, fittingly topped by Marianas Trench's "Pop 101" barely featuring Anami Vice. (By the way, what's up with the word "barely" on the credit for the featured artist?)

OPC Praise 40 of 2014
The year is coming to a close, and that means it's time to wrap it up with the OPC Year-end Charts. For the Top 40 Praise songs, eight artists who made it to last year's edition also have entries on this year's edition, with the 2013 chart-toppers Newsboys finding themselves at #30 with "We Believe." Britt Nicole ("You're Not Alone" with Owl City at #4) and Building 429 ("Press On" featuring Group 1 Crew's Blanca Callahan at #10) found help to keep themselves in the Top 10 for two years in a row.
2014 highlights the entry of our country's very own Victory Worship who grabs the 22nd spot with "Radical Love." And another highlight is We Are Leo's fourth straight year-end chart appearance ("Live for Love" at #7 in 2011, "Supernova Sunrise at #1 in 2012, and "Oxygen" at #15 last year) with "You're the Best Thing" finishing at #6.

But it's certainly Francesca Battistelli's year as she not only has three songs on our annual tally (two of them in the top ten), she also tops the list with a song that reminds us that our own life story becomes the best when we don't try to write it ourselves, but when we let God write it instead. From the album If We're Honest, here's a live acoustic performance of "Write Your Story," this year's #1 Praise song on OPC:

Zero or Max ug Uban Pang Pakatawa
Coke or Pepsi
A fortune cookie gave P-Noy a choice of which drink he wanted: Coke Zero or Pepsi Max. Immediately, P-Noy took the Coke Zero and drank it. Upon reading further, the fortune cookie stated: The drink you chose determines your love life for 2015. #ZeroOrMax
Merry Christmas: God in Ctrl
Today, let us all remember that God sent His son Jesus to us because He loves us. He is the one who can Ctrl-Z (undo) our wrongs and Ctrl-Y (redo) what needs to be restored. God is our F1 (help) in time of need, and He will not Alt-F4 (quit) on us. We just have to Ctrl-O (open) our hearts and invite Him into our lives so He can make all things Ctrl-N (new) and Ctrl-S (save) us into eternity. Merry Christmas!

After debuting at #1 and staying there for two weeks, Olly Murs and Demi Lovato found themselves giving way to the up-lifted heart of Kerrie Roberts. But this week, they retake the throne as they go back "Up" for a third non-consecutive week at #1.
