SENATE – The Aquino Prosecutors drew first blood and dominated with a 20-3 win over the Corona Kings to gain a 1-0 lead in their Impeachment Conference Finals.
Corona kept the score close in the early goings of the game 3-2, before the Aquino offense unleashed a 7-0 run for an 10-2 halftime lead. The Kings woes continued after only scoring one point in the second half, as their defense was unable to prevent the Prosecutors from scoring their 16-point quota.
Coach Cuevas of the Kings promised that they will bounce back in Game 2 of their Best-of-7 series.
